Applications:
- Foaming agent: Primarily used for creating air pockets in various plastic and rubber products, making them lighter, softer, and more flexible. Common examples include:
- PVC foams: Shoe soles, yoga mats, flooring, and building materials
- EVA foams: Toys, sports equipment, shoe midsoles, and packaging materials
- XPE foams: Insulation, packaging, and sealing materials
- Rubber foams: Hoses, seals, gaskets, and soundproofing materials
- Other uses: Blowing agent in batteries, fireproofing agent in textiles, and bleaching agent in the food industry (limited use).
