Magnesium Sulfate:- Magnesium is a chemical compound (salt) with the formula MgSO4, consisting of Magnesium cation (Mg2+ of 20.19%) and Sulfate anion (SO42- of 79.81%). (WHO) recommends Magnesium sulfate as the most effect, safe and low-cost anticonvulsant treatment for severe pre eclampsia and prophylaxis in patients and also toxemia of pregnancy. This medication is a mineral supplements used to prevent and treat low amounts of magnesium in the blood.
