Sodium Hexametaphosphate (SHMP)
This is a clean, non-toxic phosphate that is widely used in the Food and Chemical Industry. It is also used as surfactant, emulsifier, suspending agent, dispersing agent, kin such Industries. It is chelating reagent for metal ions, and adhesive, and a swelling reagent.
It's also an active ingredient in toothpastes as an anti-staining and tartar prevention ingredient. It is also contained in the energy drink NOS.
Food and Tech grade: One of the most common applications of Sodium hexametaphosphate Tech grade is water treatment where it acts as a sequestrants, water softening, deflocculating, dispersing, etc. It is used to convert pulp into pape due to the nature of phosphate. It is used in food preservation and also commonly used as a component of detergent, for keeping pigments dispersed in paints and also in photography.
