USES OF MAIZE STARCH.
It is used in culinary as a thickening agent in liquid-based foods. It is usually done by mixing it with a lower-temperature liquid to form a paste or slurry.
Some baby powders also contain maize starch. it is also used in the production of bioplastics and airbags. Adhesives can also be made using maize starch, especially adhesives that are used to make paste papers.
It is used as an anti-sticking agent on medical products made from natural latex including condoms, diaphragms, and medical gloves. It has the properties to supply glucose to maintain blood sugar levels for people with glycogen storage disease.
